Accreditation

Brookshire International Academy is nationally accredited by the National Association for the Legal Support of Alternative Schools (NALSAS) and is a member of the National Coalition of Alternative Schools (NCAS). NALSAS has been providing accreditation since 1973.

We are also completing the regional accreditation process with AdvancED. AdvanceEd represents 27,000 public and private schools and districts across the United States and in 65 countries worldwide, educating 15 million students.

To earn accreditation, schools must meet AdvancED standards, engage in continuous improvement, and demonstrate quality assurance through internal and external review. The standards are based in the research on the factors that impact student achievement. The accreditation process helps schools and districts bring together all the parts of the school or district to improve student and organizational performance.
